ATSSA Flagger Certification Course

This is the ATSSA Flagger Certification Course required for personnel that are involved with traffic control safety in highway work zones. Certification is valid for 4 years.

OSHA Residential Construction Fall Protection
March 13, 2012 8:30 a.m. – 12 Noon
Residential construction activities are some of the most frequently cited by OSHA for compliance issues. This course will help contractors understand residential construction hazards and be able to comply with OSHA requirements regarding fall protection. It is ideal for supervisors, lead craftsmen, safety personnel and work administrators of the host employer. Safety Council Certificate of Completion will be awarded to each student.

OSHA Permit Required Confined Space Entry Training
March 13, 2012 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m
Permit Required Confined Space Training is a comprehensive program designed for on-site supervisors, safety managers, public works professionals, and other employees responsible for safety operations and OSHA compliance. Participants will receive training in confined space identification, documentation, entry and rescue standards. Training will help in the design and administration of an on-site compliance program in accordance with OSHA 29CFR 1910.146 and recent regulatory changes. Safety Council Completion Certificate provided.

OSHA Electrical Safe Work Practices & NFPA 70E ARC Blast
March 14, 2012 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m
The increasing frequency of electrical-related injuriesand fatalities is staggering. OSHA and the NFPA placea high degree priority and emphasis on electrical safe work practices. This timely training addresses OSHA Subpart S and the recently revised NFPA 70E Standard. This training is appropriate for any industry. Handouts will be provided. Attendees will receive a sample Written Electrical Safety Program. The NFPA 70E Standard will not be provided and students are encouraged not mandated to bring their own copy. Safety Council Certificate of Completion provided.

CPR Certification Training

Learn state-of-the-art information and techniques inadministering CPR life support.This training will teach you appropriate response procedures in various emergency situations at home and at work. Each participant will receive an American Safety and HealthInstitute (ASHI) CPR Certification Card, which is valid for 2 years. Meets OSHA standards. Coffee and Danish provided.

First Aid Certification Training
March 16, 2012 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
An essential course for key employees in offices, manufacturing and construction work environments. This ASHI certification course will give enrollees up-todate medically accurate information with instruction on the proper sequence of reaction in various first aid emergencies. Each participant will receive an American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) First Aid Certification Card valid for 2 years. Meets OSHA standards.

Forklift Safety Instructor Development Course
March 21, 2012 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m
This course is ideal for mangers with responsibility for providing safety training for their forklift operators, which is an OSHA requirement. Students will become certified in the Coaching Systems Forklift Safety Training Program. You'll learn what it takes to comply with OSHA's powered industrial truck standard (1910.178) and practical information for developing a complete in house training session. The course will include learning effective training techniques Students will be given an opportunity to practice the training in the afternoon session. Safety Council Certificate of Completion will be awarded to each student. Coffee and Danish provided.
