Thank you for your interest in the Delaware Safety Council's
On-Line CD-based Defensive Driving Course.

The Delaware Safety Council's CD based On-line Defensive Driving Courses are fully approved and certified for auto insurance premium reductions. Now you can take a Defensive Driving Course over a period of several days at your own pace and on your own schedule. It's easy to register and order the CD. When you complete the Course, you'll be able to print your own certificate to present to your insurance company. It's that easy.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS - You must have the following in order to use this system:

A PC running at least Microsoft Windows XP or later operating system (course does not work on a MAC)
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or better
Microsoft Windows Media Player 7.1 or better

Your CD will be mailed to you upon processing of your registration, which will be done on the following business day. Fee for either course is $28.00 plus $4.00 shipping & handling.

When you begin the registration process, you will be given the option of taking either the Basic or Advanced Course.

The Basic Defensive Driving Course is for those drivers who have never taken a Defensive Driving Course.

The Advanced/Refresher Defensive Driving Course is for those drivers who completed either the Basic or Advanced/Refresher Defensive Driving Course 3 years ago and need to take a course in order to renew their discount and 3-point credit.

PLEASE NOTE! If it's been longer than 3 years since your last course completion, your insurance company may require you to repeat the Basic course. Please contact them before continuing with your registration in order to determine which course you'll need to take.
